The Problem
Our client, Hammond Gower, is a prominent UK-based greeting card publisher known for its creative and ever-evolving designs. The greeting card industry is highly seasonal, which means that each year, thousands of new card designs must be launched and uploaded to the company’s website.
Each product requires a dedicated web page complete with rich marketing descriptions and SEO-optimized metadata to drive both visibility and sales. This includes product descriptions, meta titles, alt text for images, and even translations for international markets.
Creating all of this content manually was not only time-consuming, often taking several minutes per product, it also risked inconsistencies in tone, quality, and SEO effectiveness.
Hammond Gower approached Logic Replace with a challenge:
Can we automate the creation of high-quality marketing copy and SEO metadata, without compromising the effectiveness and tone that human writers would deliver?
The Solution
To solve this problem, we developed a custom AI-powered automation system that delivers professional-grade marketing copy and SEO text by analyzing product images.
At the core of the system is Vision AI, a cutting-edge computer vision model capable of interpreting and understanding product visuals in detail. Using this, we generated natural, engaging, and purchase-driven marketing copy directly from images, no manual writing required.
For additional content types such as:
- Meta titles
- Image alt text
- SEO descriptions
- Translations
we integrated OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 Turbo and GPT-4.1 Mini. These models provided fast, cost-effective language generation that aligned perfectly with the brand tone.
We enhanced the client’s existing Digital Asset Management (DAM) system by integrating a new module we built called the Image to Text (ITT) Manager. This custom tool sits inside their DAM and automates the AI processes seamlessly, without disrupting the current workflow.
Inputs
The process begins within the DAM interface. Users can:
- Select and process up to 250 product images at once.
- Optionally upload a CSV file containing additional data to enhance processing or use the system for other websites or channels.
This design allows for batch operations and future extensibility beyond the current website.
AI Processes
Once the images are submitted, the system kicks off a two-stage AI workflow:
- Image Analysis with Vision AI
Vision AI analyzes each product image and generates a compelling, on-brand product description designed to engage the customer and encourage conversion. - Text Enrichment with GPT Models
The output from Vision AI is then fed into GPT-3.5 Turbo and GPT-4.1 Mini, which generate:

- SEO-optimized meta titles and meta descriptions
- Alt text for accessibility and search indexing
- Language translations (where needed)
Site Updates
Once all texts are generated, users are presented with a review screen where they can see:
- Each product image
- The AI-generated description and metadata
- Editable fields if manual changes are desired
After review and approval, the system can automatically update existing product pages or use the generated content to add entirely new products to the website, cutting down the workload to mere clicks.
